If you are in immediate need of help and/or a safe place to stay, consider contacting a local shelter or crises pregnancy center.

Crisis pregnancy center locator and Life Call Crisis Pregnancy Centers are two websites that will help a pregnant woman in the U.S. find agencies staffed with caring individuals who want to help the woman through this difficult time in her life.   A different website can help pregnant women in Canada.  Many centers are medical clinics with a full range of free services. The staff is trained to be non-judgmental and many are volunteers who give of their time because they care about others.

The choice a woman makes regarding her pregnancy will have a profound effect on her body, her emotional well-being, and countless other aspects of her current and future life. The crises pregnancy center can offer support, practical help, and options counseling.
